X-one Bead

Overview

The X-one Bead product is a pre-filled bead tube that includes both a pre-filled tube and a Filter Cap. It is designed for easy manual homogenization in environments where a homogenizer is not available or electricity is limited. After homogenization, there’s no need for centrifugation — simply replace the cap with the provided Filter Cap and squeeze the tube to effectively remove debris and other particulates without a centrifuge.

The X-one Bead series is a line of pre-filled bead tubes optimized for different sample types.
It enables efficient sample lysis not only in the lab but also in outdoor or power-limited environments where conventional homogenizers cannot be used.

Centrifuge-Free Clarification with Included Filter Cap

Each tube comes with a filter cap and is made from a soft, squeezable material.
After homogenization, simply replace the cap with the filter cap and manually squeeze the tube to remove debris and easily collect the clarified supernatant — no centrifuge required.

Manual Homogenization? Yes — with HandXtract.

HandXtract is a simple yet powerful manual homogenizer designed to work without electricity. It holds up to 8 tubes on a long, rod-shaped frame. By vigorously shaking the device for about a minute in a “massaging” motion, the tubes move with amplified displacement, generating far more kinetic energy than by hand-shaking a single tube.
Additionally, the repetitive tapping or pounding motion transfers impact energy from the rod to the tubes, then into the beads, efficiently breaking down even tough sample material.
